General Information
In our continuing effort to inspire patriotism, uplift and increase love for country, the Utah SAR sponsors and co-sponsors patriotic events. Programs are designed to provide exceptional experiences for our membership and the public. We are especially interested in sharing the extraordinary stories of the American Revolution and for the preservation of liberty and freedom. We value and uphold the Declaration of Independence and U. S. Constitution and work to provide a greater understanding and appreciation for these remarkable documents. Feb 29-Mar 2 2024 – Two members of the Utah Society SAR, compatriots Bill Simpson and Doug McGregor, supported the National Society SAR’s Genealogy and Patriot Research Committees at RootsTech 2024, held at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City, as they hosted a booth for the well-attended annual event. The average attendance was 15,000 in-person attendees and millions of virtual attendees. RootsTech has evolved into the world’s largest genealogy & family history event.
