It’s called the semiquincentennial!
July 4, 2026, will be the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and the founding of America. This will be a great and glorious day in the history of the United States!
Think of it! 250 years of the pursuit of liberty, the protection of God-given rights, a commitment to strive for equality of opportunity, self-government, and the rule of law! No where else in this vast world has there been a country equal to the freedom found in United States of America!
The Utah SAR is making plans to join with the Utah DAR, State of Utah, and other historical, civic, and community entities to celebrate this auspicious occasion.
Members and Associates of the Utah SAR are invited to get involved, participate, contribute, provide service in making the 250th a most memorable and meaningful occasion. Volunteer for committee service, join the color guard, or do what you can to help us prepare for and commemorate America’s Independence!
